US exit of Iran deal threatens billions of dollars in aviation

The President of the United States Donald Trump announced on May 8, 2018 his intention to pull out from Iranian nuclear deal and to restore sanctions on Iran. The bans about to be enforced again concern the trade of oil, metal… and aviation. The decision will affect many companies of the aviation industry on both sides of the Atlantic, countering hundreds of aircraft sales, worth billions of dollars.

AirAsia X in legal battle with Malaysia Airports over $8.8m debt

AirAsia X announced on May 3, 2018, it will file a defense in response to Malaysia Airports Holdings claim that the airline owes it US$8.8 million in outstanding airport charges, rent and late payment charges. The carrier denies amassing such debt and says it is ready to battle it out with the airports operator in what is the latest spat between the companies.
