Airbus showcases strong H1 2019 results as profit, deliveries soar

At the halfway mark of 2019, Airbus’ profits climbed high. The European aerospace giant ramped up the production rate of its most popular jet, increased total delivery numbers and saw a snowballing demand of its newest products.
Search continues for the pilot of a U.S. Navy F/A-18E Super Hornet jet that crashed in Death Valley National Park, California. The incident injured seven people on the ground. The status of the pilot is unknown.
