What do we know about Aeroflot Superjet-100 crash-landing?

Forty-one people died and eleven were injured after the emergency landing of an Aeroflot Superjet-100 in Sheremetyevo International Airport (SVO), Moscow, on May 5, 2019. An investigation has been opened to determine the cause of the accident.
Commercial aviation forum AIR Convention Asia launched in Bangkok, Thailand on May 1, 2019. Inviting hundreds of aviation professionals, decision-makers and influential companies, the event is the biggest commercial aviation forum held in the country.
The Superjet-100, initially manufactured by Sukhoi, was designed to compete with the Brazilian Embraer and the Canadian Bombardier in the regional aircraft market. To encourage acquisitions, subsidies were offered by the Russian government. Eight years after it entered service, it has been at the center of numerous controversies.
