Boeing to rename Embraer commercial aviation division

Once the takeover by Boeing is enforced, the commercial division of Embraer will be renamed Boeing Brasil – Commercial.
South African Airlines flew two of its A340-600 widebodies in a formation with South African Air Force on May 25, 2019. The flypast was part of the inauguration celebration of the country’s new president.
Avianca Brasil operations were suspended by the ANAC, the Brazilian authority for civil aviation, “as a precautionary measure”.
Air New Zealand has just signed a commitment for eight Dreamliners, boosting the worth of Boeing’s backlog by $27 billion. While it is the first publicly announced deal by Boeing after the 737 MAX crisis went in full swing, it is not, however, the only plane order for the manufacturer in recent months.
