Low-cost giant Ryanair received a fine of €1.85 million by the Italian competition authority on June 7, 2018, for canceling thousands of flights between September and October 2017, while failing to inform its customers properly.
Hawaiian Airlines on June 11, 2018, took delivery of its first U.S.-produced A321neo aircraft from the Airbus U.S. Manufacturing Facility in Mobile, Alabama. It is also Airbus’ first U.S.-delivered new engine option (NEO) aircraft from the only Airbus’ facility in the U.S. This was a milestone delivery for the European plane maker.
