Emirates warned over breach of no-fly zone in Yangon

Here is some news you probably have not heard – Myanmar’s (formerly Burma) Department of Civil Aviation (DCA) has reportedly warned Emirates that they may take action against the airline after one of its aircraft crossed a no-fly zone in Yangon, the largest city in the country, on May 20, 2018.

BREAKING: MH17 shot down by Russian troops’ missile, JIT says

International Criminal Investigation Team (JIT) believes that the missile that downed the flight MH17 of Malaysia Airlines above Ukraine in 2014 was provided by a Russian military unit. The conclusions were presented by a team of investigators from Australia, Belgium, Malaysia, the Netherlands and Ukraine, during a press conference on May 24, 2018, in Bunnik, the Netherlands.

Allegiant receives first US-assembled A320 for all-Airbus fleet

Allegiant Air took delivery of its first U.S.-produced A320 aircraft. The ultra-low cost carrier is currently under transition to an all-Airbus fleet. The move will help to improve the age of the carrier’s fleet, from the current average of 17 years, and hopefully shut down concerns over technical and safety problems inside the airline due to its aging aircraft.

Flydubai denies rumor of hijacked flight

The flight FZ301 from Dubai International Airport (DXB) in Dubai, United Arab Emirates (UAE) to Hamid Karzai International Airport (KBL) in Kabul, Afghanistan, was re-routed to back to Dubai mid-flight due to a “disruptive” passenger. The first reports were suspecting hijacking attempt. Flydubai denies this rumor.
