China Southern flight evacuated after power bank catches fire

Passengers on a China Southern Airlines domestic flight from Guangzhou to Shanghai on February 25, 2018, were forced to disembark when a portable power bank caught fire in an overhead compartment of the aircraft.

FlyBe diverts plane due to emergency

On February 26, 2018, FlyBe flight was diverted to Manchester Airport for emergency landing. The Bombardier Dash 8 Q400 carrying 63 passengers is thought to have suffered a technical issue after crossing the Scotland border.

United plane blows tire on takeoff from Newark, continues flying

United Airlines domestic flight from Newark, New Jersey to Portland, Oregon, blew a tire during takeoff late on February 25, 2018, but continued its flight.
