Boeing estimates the cost of 737 MAX grounding at $1 billion

While presenting its financial results for the first quarter of 2019, Boeing estimated the price of the 737 MAX grounding since mid-March at $1 billion. This number only takes into account an increase in production costs for the aircraft. Possible compensations for the victims’ family and the airlines are left out for now.
In March 2019, South Korean authorities have issued licenses to the fresh batch of start-up airlines, among which was Air Premia. Fast forward a month, the airline is already making changes to license, after appointing a second CEO.
Uganda Airlines received two brand new Bombardier CRJ900 aircraft ‒ the first ones in the fleet. The carrier is preparing for a takeoff in July 2019 and vows are made not to repeat the mistakes of its predecessor.
